Middle Tennessee Girls Christmas Party

Well, for all of you who made it out to our first "girls" TLC Christmas party, you know that it was very, very MERRY indeed! Thanks to each of you for giving up your Thursday night to come and share some of the Christmas spirit with us... when everyone left, Mom and I agreed it really was one of the highlights of the year for us. You see, it is so rare that we get together as a group and are able to ENJOY each other, without discussing the stresses of work! This night, everyone just showed up in their scrubs...it was so casual, so laid back... and we just had FUN together! By the end of the night, everyone was tired of me flashing pics, but looky here--- now we have these captured moments to remember!!!

...stuffing our faces!...

Now you know this proud mama has to post a pic of Shaelyn Jade...she loved her new friend, Kaylie!

Kenya and he sweet daughter Aniyah did make it, after all... and we were so happy! They loved on little miss Kaylie for most of the evening... and Aniyah even nabbed a perfect dirty santa gift for herself!

Kenya and Casey...and Pam...and almost a Nance! :)

Brandy worked up a sweat on those crutches!!!

Me and Mom!

Ellie ended up with a very fashionable scarf that looked great on her!!

Say cheese!!

Proud mama and sweet Kaylie Rae Thornhill...

The Nashville ladies stuck together!

Casey used two red table cloths as her "tissue paper" in her gift...and apparently Nancy and Ellie ended up using them as blankets! ha ha ha....

Robin Carter was our "unofficial" TLC Medical employee, but since she is in the Franklin office almost daily, and helps us so much with our Medela stuff, we invited her to join our fun!

Prop up those swollen feet there Jenny! We can't wait for little "peanut"!!!!! Next time we all get together it will be for your shower!!!

Teresa just HAD to have a shot by herself...:)

....and we weren't the only ones stuffing our faces!!! Go Kaylie!

Pam is shown here sulking as she knows she is about to have to give up her beloved scarf... hey--- it's the name of the game!!!!

Brandy had a little harder time getting up and down all those steps, but at least she got some good practice on those crutches! Speedy recovery, Brandy!

Ok, so maybe Pam WAS the Dirty Santa this year... look what she DID end up with after all!!! :) Go Pammy!

Jenny is caught feeding that baby again.... :)

And one group shot with all of our Dirty Santa gifts... check our my new comfy PJs!! Love 'em!!

Hayley, Brandy, Casey, Nancy, and Deb with their favorite ornaments they picked out!

And last but not least, I couldn't help but get one more shot of this precious little "bundle" as she was leaving!

Thanks, again, to all of you who came out...and we missed the rest of you who could not be there! We are so thankful for all of you, and blessed by your hard work. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas... and Happy New Year!!!

Thank Everyone

I will be honest with everyone, life has been tough lately. With everything that has conspired this past week and a half, I have questioned many things. I do know that my father is a very good man and will continue to guide me throughout the rest of my life. You have probably never met my father, but I am an exact clone of him. He is a great father and a best friend that I could never replace.

I want to thank every single person that works for TLC. You all have shown me a lot throughout this trying time. I couldn't ask for better people to work with and very thankful to have ya'll. Thank you for the flowers, giftcards and your presence. Life is much easier working with people like ya'll.

-Kyle

Thank You

I would like to take a moment and thank everyone for the lovely flowers that we received in honor of Gary's Father. The last 6 weeks have been so difficult knowing that Gary's Dad was ending his journey here on earth, but I believe he now is in a better place, free from pain and illness. We just want you to know how much we appreciate your thought and prayers.

I also want to thank Alison, all the CSR's, Bill Drake, the RT's and everyone that helped out during my absence.

May peace be with everyone during this New Year.

Sincerely,

Deb Wallace

Please Remember

I write this blog post with a heavy heart for two of our TLC team. Kyle Thompson lost his 44 year old father over the weekend unexpectedly. I spoke with Kyle briefly on Sunday and told him that he would be in all of our thoughts and prayers. Kyle's father will be at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home here in Franklin. His funeral will take place on Wednesday. Also, Deb Wallace lost her father-in-law over the weekend. Deb and Gary are traveling to Oklahoma to attend the funeral services this week. I also spoke with Deb on Sunday and told her we would be praying for her and Gary as well.

Please keep Kyle, and Deb in your thoughts and prayers. These upcoming days will be challenging to say the least.
Thanks......Joey

On Inauguration Day -- Let Us Pray

TLC Friends,

I wanted to let you all know that Max Lucado has set up a great website: check it out! http://www.maxlucado.com/president/

Let's join Max Lucado and the 18,000 + others on 01.20.08 to pray for President-Elect Obama

"On January 20, 2009–inauguration day–set aside some minutes to pray for our incoming President. Ask God to inspire, direct and protect him. Pray for his wife and daughters. Use your worship time, family time and private time to ask God’s blessings on Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and all the men and women who serve and lead our country. It’s time to pray."

PRAY FOR RULERS and FOR ALL WHO HAVE AUTHORITY so that we can HAVE QUIET and PEACEFUL LIVES FULL OF WORSHIP and RESPECT FOR GOD.(1 Timothy 2:2)

Have a good day!!!! :)

Merry Christmas

Ellie said

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY FRIENDS

Jesus is Better than Santa
Santa lives at the North Pole.
JESUS is everywhere.
Santa rides in a sleigh
JESUS rides on the wind and walks on the water.
Santa comes but once a year
JESUS is an ever present help.
Santa fills your stockings with goodies
JESUS supplies all your needs.
Santa comes down your chimney uninvited
JESUS stands at your door and knocks.. and then enters your heart.
You have to stand in line to see Santa
JESUS is as close as the mention of His name.
Santa lets you sit on his lap
JESUS lets you rest in His arms.
Santa doesn't know your name, all he can say is "Hi little boy or girl, What's your name?"
JESUS knew our name before we did. Not only does He know our name, He knows our address too. He knows our history and future and He even knows how many hairs are on our heads.
Santa has a belly like a bowl full of jelly
JESUS has a heart full of love.
All Santa can offer is HO HO HO
JESUS offers health, help and hope.
Santa says "You better not cry"
JESUS says "Cast all your cares on me for I care for you.
Santa's little helpers make toys
JESUS makes new life, mends wounded hearts, repairs broken homes and builds mansions.
Santa may make you chuckle but
JESUS gives you joy that is your strength.
While Santa puts gifts under your tree
JESUS became our gift and died on the tree.
It's obvious there is really no comparison.
We need to remember WHO Christmas is all about.
We need to put Christ back in Christmas.
Jesus is still the reason for the season.

May the Lord Bless and Watch over you and your loved ones this Christmas 2008
And may He prosper and bless the work of your hands in the New Year.
